Tampereen Pyrintö
Tampereen Pyrintö (abbreviated TP ) is a sports club from Tampere , Finland, founded in 1896 . There are club teams for athletics , basketball , orienteering , weightlifting , cross-country skiing , ski jumping and cheerleading .

The Tampereen Pyrintö basketball division was founded in 1941. She has won two Finnish championships and once the men's cup competition. The women's team has won eight Finnish championships and one trophy.

In athletics, Pyrintö is one of the best clubs in Finland. Well-known members of Pyrintös are the long jumper Tommi Evilä and the javelin thrower Tero Järvenpää .
Orienteering
Tampereen Pyrintö is also one of the most successful orienteering clubs in Finland. Well-known runners of the team are Anni-Maija Fincke , Venla Niemi , Liisa Anttila , Outi Borgenström , Marián Dávidík and Jarkko Huovila . The club's men's and women's relay teams have already celebrated several successes at Jukola and Venla. The women's relay won in 1990, 1991 and 2011 at the Swedish Tiomila .
