Sameli Tala (actually Samuel Rafael Tala ; born August 16, 1893 in Jalasjärvi ; † January 6, 1961 ibid) was a Finnish long-distance runner .

In the team run over 3000 meters at the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris, he finished in 13th place and was fourth-best Finn. Although only the best three results of a team counted and thus its result did not matter, he was awarded the gold medal like the other members of the victorious Finnish team.

In 1917, 1918 and 1923 he became the Finnish champion over 5000 meters .
