Arlie Schardt
Arlie Schardt (actually Alfred E. Schardt ; born April 24, 1895 in Milwaukee , † March 2, 1980 in Clearwater , Florida ) was an American middle and long distance runner .
In 1920 he was fifth in the US championship in the mile run . In the same year he finished third in the team run over 3000 meters at the Olympic Games in Antwerp and won the gold medal for the US team with Horace Brown (1st) and Ivan Dresser (6th).
