Eino Seppälä

Eino Seppälä (born November 11, 1896 in Virolahti , † April 4, 1968 in Imatra ) was a Finnish long-distance runner .

At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, he was fifth over 5000 meters . Although he did not finish in the team race over 3000 meters , he was awarded the gold medal like the other members of the victorious Finnish team.

He set his personal best over 5000 meters with 15: 10.5 minutes on May 24, 1928 in Helsinki .
