Fiscal is a municipality in northern Portugal . It belongs to the Amares district in the Braga district , covers an area of 3.9 km² and has 718 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
The listed mansion and winery Casa da Tapada is just outside the village of Fiscal. It originally dates from the 16th century and has been expanded and rebuilt several times. Today Mannerist and Baroque style elements can be found in the building and the richly decorated house chapel. The parish church ( Igreja Paroquial de Fiscal ) is also a listed building.
The Portuguese pop musician António Variações (1944–1984) was born here. A bust was erected for him in the village, and a street was named after him. a. the municipal administration resides.
