Fischhof Prize

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Fischhof Prize is awarded every one to two years by the Society for Minorities in Switzerland, GSM, and the Foundation against Racism and Anti-Semitism, GRA. This prize was donated by Ms. Nanny Fischhof in memory of her husband, who fled to Switzerland as an emigrant during the Second World War.

The prize is awarded in a festive setting to people or institutions who have made a name for themselves in the fight against xenophobia, racism in general and anti-Semitism in particular. It should express thanks and appreciation and serve to encourage further relevant activities.
