Fjørt is a band from Aachen that was founded in 2012 . The band uses mostly German-language texts and can be classified as post-hardcore .

history

The band was founded in February 2012 in Aachen and released their first EP Demontage on November 23, 2012 via Truelove Entertainment. Although the EP only consisted of six songs, the first two video releases have already been released. In addition to the video for the song Glasgesicht by the Berlin artist "Keychee", the video for the title song Demontage was produced by Iconographic, who also worked with the band on all of the later videos.

Until the release of the first studio album, the band played almost 100 concerts. On March 21, 2014, D'Accord was released on This Charming Man Records . There were also several moving images from this ten-title work as a background. There were some concerts with hot cold and label festivals.

In 2015 the band signed with the German label Grand Hotel van Cleef and released their second album there on January 22nd, 2016, entitled Kontakt . Afterwards, they went on their first headlining tour in February and March. The 15-concert tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland was supported by We Never Learned to Live .

The band's third studio album was released on November 17, 2017 under the title Couleur . It was also published by the Hamburg label Grand Hotel van Cleef . Also Couleur was accompanied by motion picture productions. The publication was announced by a hotel session in the Hotel Waldlust in Freudenstadt . After the album was released, a trilogy of the pieces Couleur , Magnifique and Karat followed . Like the hotel session, all three music videos were produced by Iconographic. A headlining tour to Couleur followed in January 2018 .
