Fyodor Saweljewitsch Chitruk
Fyodor Khitruk ( Russian Фёдор Савельевич Хитрук * April 18 . Jul / 1. May 1917 greg. In Tver , † 3 December 2012 in Moscow ) was a Russian animator , film director and screenwriter .
Life
Fyodor Chitruk started at Soyuzmultfilm -Studio in 1938 , where he worked as an animator for 25 years. He produced his first own film, The Story of a Crime , in 1961. It is about a man who cannot fall asleep because the neighbors are so loud. The style used in it differed greatly from the Soviet animated films of the time in that it was more based on American models such as United Productions of America . As the new style attracted international attention, the animators gained more artistic freedom than in other media.
Chitruk founded the animation school and studio SchAR in Russia in 1993 with the other animators Juri Borissowitsch Norstein , Andrei Jurjewitsch Chrschanowski and Eduard Wassiljewitsch Nasarow .
In 1987, on his 70th birthday, he was awarded the Foundlings Prize for his overall work.
