The Flånuten ( Norwegian for flat summit is) a 2725 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Humboldt Mountains of blessing massif it extends between the valley of Livdebotnen and the glacier Vindegghallet .
It was mapped using aerial photographs taken during the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960). It got its name after its flattened peak.
