The flak artillery commander at Luftgau III was a division of the German Air Force during the Second World War . The list took place on February 29, 1940. On June 24, 1940 the office was liquidated. The only division commander was General of the Flak Artillery Gerhard Hoffmann with a command post in Berlin . After his department was closed, he took over command of the 9th Flak Division . The task of the flak artillery commander in Luftgau III was the operational management of all flak units stationed in this area. The Air Defense Command 1 was subordinate to him as the only major association .
