The senior commander of the flak regiments was a division of the German Air Force during the Second World War .

Establishment, order and dissolution

It was set up on June 4, 1941. The office was subordinate to the General of the Flak Cartillery at the Reich Minister of Aviation and Commander in Chief of the Air Force. The headquarters were in Berlin . The only division commander was Colonel , later Major General Hans-Jürgen von Witzendorff . The primary task of the division staff was the operational management of all flak regiments 1 to 7. He was also responsible for the manner in which the flak regiments were trained. On April 15, 1944, the office was converted to the staff of the Flak-Ersatz-Division .
