The 1st Flak searchlight division , also 1. Flak searchlight division and Flak searchlight division 1 , was a large unit of the ground troops of the German air force during the Second World War .
Division history
The Flak Headlight Brigade I was built up at the beginning of August 1941 by adding troops to the 1st Flak Headlight Division . She was placed under the command of the former commander of the Flak Headlight Brigade I, Colonel / Major General / Lieutenant General Alfons Luczny .
The division was responsible for the operational management of the flak searchlight associations along the German-Dutch and German-Belgian border as far as northern France as part of the Hellen Nachtjagd . The submission took place under the XII. Fliegerkorps , the former 1st Night Hunting Division.
In the spring of 1942, the 1st Flak Headlight Division was disbanded due to the changing German combat tactics and its departments were distributed to other flak units.
