Flak artillery commander at Luftgau XI

The flak artillery commander at Luftgau XI was a division of the German Air Force during the Second World War . It was set up on February 1, 1940. In May 1940, the office was wound up and renamed to the command staff of Air Defense Command 8 . The only division commander was Major General Richard Kolb with command post in Hamburg , later Denmark. The task of the flak artillery commander in Luftgau XI consisted of the operational management of all flak units stationed in this area. He was the only major association to report to Air Defense Command 3 and Air Defense Command 6 .
