The General of the Flak Artillery at Luftgaukommando XVII was a division of the German Air Force during the Second World War . The list took place on December 4, 1944. On March 31, 1945 the office was closed. The only division commander was Lieutenant General Kurt Wagner with a command post in Vienna . The task of the general of the anti-aircraft artillery at Luftgaukommando XI initially consisted of an advisory role to the commanding general and commander of Luftgau XVII and the operational management of all anti-aircraft units stationed in this area.
