Flavio Roberto Carraro OFMCap (born February 3, 1932 in Sandon di Fossò , Province of Venice , Italy ) is Bishop Emeritus of Verona .

Life

Flavio Roberto Carraro joined the religious order of the Capuchins and was ordained a priest on March 16, 1957 . In 1982 he became Minister General of the Capuchins.

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Arezzo-Cortona-Sansepolcro on June 8, 1996 . The Archbishop of Florence , Silvano Cardinal Piovanelli , ordained him episcopal on August 7th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Archbishop Francesco Gioia OFMCap and Giovanni D'Ascenzi , Bishop Emeritus of Arezzo-Cortona-Sansepolcro.

On July 25, 1998, John Paul II called him Bishop of Verona. Pope Benedict XVI accepted his resignation on May 8, 2007 for reasons of age.
