Florent Baloki-Milandou (born October 10, 1971 in Brazzaville , † November 9, 2007 in Oldenburg ) was a Congolese football player . Baloki was part of the Republic of Congo's squad at the African Cup of Nations in 1992 and had spent the last few years of his career in North German amateur football.
Career
Baloki was in 1992 as a player for Diables Noirs for the African Cup of Nations and came to two appearances in the course of the tournament, including the 1: 2 defeat in the quarter-finals against the Ghanaian team to the exceptional players Abédi Pelé , Anthony Yeboah and Nii Lamptey . In the World Cup qualifications in 1994 and 1998 he was part of the regular staff and played for the national team until at least 1999.
In 1995 the defender moved to the Ivorian top club ASEC Mimosas , with whom he won the state championship three times (1995, 1997, 1998), the state cup twice (1995 and 1997) and the Supercup three times (1995, 1997, 1998); in the 1997 final victories, he scored one goal each in the Cup and Supercup. Also in the biggest success in the club's history, winning the CAF Champions League in 1998, he was on the field in both final pairings. About France or Belgium he came to the East Frisian league club Kickers Emden at the turn of the millennium , before moving to VfB Oldenburg during the winter break of the 2001/02 season. Baloki-Milandou ended his career in local football at GVO Oldenburg and SSV Jeddeloh from 2005 and ended his career in 2007. The married father of two children died at the age of 36 on November 9, 2007 after a serious illness.
