Florian Fischer-Fabian (* 1957 in Berlin ) is a German business journalist, television presenter and book author.

Life

Florian Fischer-Fabian was born as the son of the writer and historian Siegfried Fischer-Fabian and the painter Ursula Fischer-Fabian in Berlin-Lichterfelde and spent his childhood and youth in Upper Bavaria , in Berg on Lake Starnberg . He is married and has a daughter.

Career

Florian Fischer-Fabian completed his traineeship at Garmisch-Partenkirchner Tagblatt and Münchner Merkur . As an author he later wrote for several magazines, TV guides and daily newspapers.

Florian Fischer-Fabian has been working as a television journalist since 1984. He moderated news programs, magazines and talk shows on Sat.1, ProSieben and n-tv. From 1987 to 1998 he worked, together with Friedhelm Busch , for the stock exchange broadcast Telebörse and reported on the events at the Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt. In 1989 Florian Fischer-Fabian and the Telebörse team were awarded the Golden Camera by the television magazine Hörzu .

In 1998 Florian Fischer-Fabian switched to ProSieben and presented the news of the Unterföhringer TV station until 2003. Until 2005 he also moderated the talk show Focus Thema and the health magazine Focus Report . Both programs were broadcast on the pay-TV channel Focus Gesundheit . Since 2007 he has also been the presenter of Rundschau magazine, which is broadcast daily at 9.45 p.m. on BR television .

Florian Fischer-Fabian, who was a regular columnist in the gourmet magazine Gault Millau , published his first book, The Gourmet Bible , in October 2008 .

Since March 2009 he has also been the editor of Gourmet Globe . The internet portal reports daily on the world of gourmets .
