Friedhelm Busch

Friedhelm Busch (* 1. September 1938 as Friedrich Wilhelm Busch in Münster ) is a German business journalist.

Career

In 1966, Busch graduated from the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster with a degree in business administration . Two years later he became a freelancer in the business editorial department of WDR and began there in 1968 with his stock market reporting. In 1970 he became deputy head of the NDR's business department . He was promoted to chief business editor of Bayerischer Rundfunk in 1974. In the same year he also obtained his doctorate. rer. pole. at the University of Münster on the subject of principles of proper accounting for pension obligations . From 1977 he headed the business department for Tagesthemen at NDR , from 1984 he was editor-in-chief of the business television company that works for Sat.1 .

In 1987 he became the moderator of the Telebörse , which was initially broadcast on Sat.1. In this role he was the first television journalist to bring the subject of the stock exchange closer to a broader German public live on weekdays from the Frankfurt stock exchange floor, usually in a humorous and entertaining manner. Busch was awarded the Golden Camera (1988) and the Golden Gong (1989) for the show. In 1994 he switched to the newly founded broadcaster n-tv with Telebörse and moderated it until his retirement in 2003. Since 2008 he has been active again on n-tv twice a month with the Busch-drum column on stock market topics , which is also teleboerse on the investor side . de is to be read.

In 1993 he had a short appearance as a stock market commentator in the third part of the TV series The Big Bellheim and in 1998 a guest appearance in The Olli Kalk and Brink Show , where he played himself. Busch is also the author of several books on the subject of the stock exchange and gives lectures on financial topics.

Busch has been a member of the Catholic German student association KDStV Moenania Munich (CV) since 1960.
