Florian Hardy (born February 8, 1985 in Nantes ) is a French ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Ducs d'Angers in the Ligue Magnus since June 2017 .

Career

Florian Hardy began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown with the Corsaires de Nantes , for which he was active from 2003 to 2005 in the third division Division 2 . The goalkeeper then played for three years for the professional team of the Ducs d'Angers in Ligue Magnus , the top French division. With Angers he first won the Coupe de France , the national cup competition, and then the Trophée des Champions against the reigning champion Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble . From 2008 to 2010 he stood between the posts for one year each for the first division clubs HC Morzine-Avoriaz and Ducs de Dijon .

For the 2010/11 season Hardy moved again within the Ligue Magnus and signed a contract with the Chamonix Hockey Club . There he was able to convince especially in the 2011/12 season and received the trophy Jean Ferrand as the best goalkeeper in the league. After the season he returned to his ex-club from Angers.

International

For France , Hardy took part in the 2010 and 2012 World Championships .
