Florian Reinhardt (born February 3, 1988 in Magdeburg ) is a former German basketball player .

Life

Reinhardt started playing basketball at USC Magdeburg . He was a selected player for the Basketball Association of Saxony-Anhalt and in 2004 was part of the German U-16 national basketball team of the German Basketball Association . In the same year he took 8th place at the federal youth camp. In 2004 he was brought to the Saalestadt by the then TuS Jena trainer Frank Menz , where he was a participant in the Jena youth basketball concept at the J. Chr. F. GutsMuths sports high school in Jena until 2007was. He subsequently also played for the junior teams and the second team of TuS Jena. On October 1, 2006, he got his first points and the first double-double in the history of the youth basketball league against MTV Kronberg . In the promotion season of Jenas 2007 he was also in the professional squad of the Saalestädter, who now played as Science City Jena. He came on seven short appearances in the basketball league .

After the descent of the Jena, he played for two years at the regional league team BIG Oettinger Rockets Gotha on the position of forward . In 2010 he and the team won the regional cup of the Thuringian Basketball Association and 4th place in the DBB Cup and celebrated promotion to the ProB . In 2014 he played for BC Erfurt in the regional league, but left the team before the end of the year for professional reasons.
