Florian Töpper

Florian Töpper (* 1979 in Werneck ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and since February 1, 2013 District Administrator of the district Schweinfurt .

Life

Töpper passed the Abitur at the Alexander-von-Humboldt-Gymnasium Schweinfurt and studied law at the University of Würzburg until 2008 . He joined the Bavarian judicial service as a public prosecutor at the Bayreuth public prosecutor's office . In February 2010 he moved to the Schweinfurt District Court as a judge . In the district election on September 23, 2012, he ran as a joint candidate for the SPD and the Greens and defeated the previous incumbent Harald Leitherer (CSU) with 57.72 percent of the vote . On February 1, 2013, he took over the office of District Administrator von Leitherer.

The political offices that Töpper held before he took office included that of the SPD sub-district chairman as well as the municipal council and third mayor in Dittelbrunn .

District Administrator Töpper has been the chairman of the Bavarian Land Schools Association since July 1, 2018 (as was the case from July 1, 2014 to June 31, 2015) .
