Florian Weber (politician, 1963)

Florian Weber (born November 10, 1963 in Bad Aibling ) is a German politician, district councilor and chairman of the Bavarian party since 2007 .

Life

Weber is married and the managing director of a company that focuses on continuing medical education.

Political career

Weber was unanimously elected party chairman of the Bavarian Party at a party congress in Regensburg in 2007 and has since been re-elected every two years with over 90% of the votes cast, most recently at the state party congress in Ingolstadt in 2019 .

In the state elections in 2008 and 2013 he ran in the constituency of Rosenheim-West ( constituency of Upper Bavaria ). He got 5.0% of the first votes there in 2013.Since 2013 Weber has been one of two BP district councilors in the Upper Bavaria district .

In 2018 he ran for the district council in the Rosenheim-Ost constituency . He also ran for the Bavarian state elections in 2018 , again as a direct candidate for Rosenheim-West.

Since 2014 he has been a city councilor for his party in Bad Aibling, as such in the main, building and works committee.
