Flights and destinations
As with other islands in this region, there are hardly any commercial air services due to the low population and tourist numbers. The only scheduled flight services for Chuuk Airport are the Island Hopper (see Island Hopping ) from United Airlines (formerly Continental Micronesia ) with an operation between Guam , Honolulu (three times a week in each direction) and the Guam-Chuuk- Pohnpei flight, which, however only takes place once a week in each direction. Air Niugini also flies the Port Moresby , Chuuk, Pohnpei route once a week .
- United Airlines , served by Continental Micronesia , to Guam , Honolulu , Kosrae , Kwajalein , Majuro and Pohnpei
- Air Niugini , from Port Moresby via Chuuk to Pohnpei
