The Mount Gambier Airport ( IATA : MGB , ICAO : YMTG ) is an international commercial airport on the coast of South Australia . It is located north of the town of Mount Gambier on the edge of the Riddoch Highway . The airport is the only commercial airport in the southern region of South Australia.

Aero Club

The Mount Gambier Aero Club was founded in 1930. During the Second World War, the Aviation Club was integrated into the Royal Australian Air Force. In 1947 the Aviation Club regained its independence.
