The Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport ( IATA : CGO , ICAO : ZHCC ) is the airport of the city of Zhengzhou in the Chinese province of Henan . It was opened in 1997 and is one of the 20 largest airports in China. The airport is currently served by 46 airlines and used as a base by Henan Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines .
On May 9, 2014, the Chinese airport Zhengzhou signed a cooperation agreement with the name "World Cargo Airports Alliance" with the airport Frankfurt-Hahn : “The agreed cooperation serves to distribute freight from China via the airport Frankfurt-Hahn in Europe. Other airports in Russia and the USA would follow shortly. ”Three months later, this cooperation ended again.
