The Airfield Aschersleben is a German aerodrome at Aschersleben in Saxony-Anhalt . It is approved for aircraft up to 5700 kg.
Directions
The small airfield is located at the northeast exit of the district town , 200 km from Berlin and 50 km each from Halle (Saale) and Magdeburg .
history
As early as 1912, Aschersleben had a makeshift landing site on the Seewiesen . In 1935 this was expanded due to the armaments industry ( Junkers factories ) and destroyed in 1945. It was later moved to its current location and was used for training in gliding.
Sporting events
From July 18 to 25, 2010, German championships in motor aerobatics took place at Aschersleben airfield .
