The airfield Oschersleben is a special airfield in the district Borde . It has a grass runway 600 meters long and 35 meters wide and is approved for gliders , motor gliders , microlights and powered aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of up to two tons and for the Antonov An-2 model .
Incidents
On 18 May 2002, a touch Glider type SZD-9 Bocian when landing treetops with the right wing . This rotated it ninety degrees to the left, leaned forward on its transverse axis, and hit the ground from a height of about two meters. The plane was destroyed and two people were slightly injured.
