The Tongo airfield ( English Tongo Airport ) was an airfield not far from the Sierra Leonean town of Tongo in the Eastern Province , north of the provincial capital Kenema .

The airfield was no time for the regular service used and served only to supply the local diamond - mines . The airfield, which can no longer be used (as of November 2019), was 229 m above sea level.
