FlyBosnia is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian airline based in Sarajevo and based at Sarajevo Airport .

history

FlyBosnia was founded in November 2017 and received its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Bosnian Aviation Authority on January 15, 2019 . In December 2018, FlyBosnia took delivery of the first A319-100 and completed the first passenger flight on February 2, 2019.

The airline is (as of November 2019) in massive financial problems and has already had to lay off 40 percent of the workforce. One machine was returned to the lessor at the end of October.

On August 24, 2020 it became known that the last Airbus 319 will be returned to the lessor, that the scheduled flights will be operated on a reduced scale and that the focus will be more on charter connections in the future.

Destinations

FlyBosnia operates (as of January 2020) flights from its Sarajevo base to Riyadh , London-Luton and Rome . Direct flights from Mostar to Rome have been available since December 16, 2019 . FlyBosnia will be offering flights to Kuwait , Jeddah and Qasim from May .

FlyBosnia is the route in early March Sarajevo - Paris introduce and then still comes Barcelona , Moscow and Frankfurt added

As of August 2020, FlyBosnia no longer has its own aircraft. The scheduled flights are currently operated with an Airbus A320 operated by GetJet Airlines .
