Forensick is a heavy metal band from Horb am Neckar, founded in 2010 .

history

Forensick emerged in June 2010 from the two Horber bands Heap of Ruins and High Proof . After first appearances in autumn 2010, the band won the Northern Black Forest Music Contest in September 2011 . After the debut album Forensick was released in February 2012 , Forensick played in the summer of 2012 at the Bang Your Head Festival and the Mini-Rock Festival .

In the winter of 2013 the second album The Prophecy was recorded, which was released on July 18, 2014 worldwide via Pure Underground Records . Deaf Forever praised the "growling bass" and the "beautiful guitar work" in 2015 Forensick played at the Out and Loud Festival.

In February 2017 Forensick announced that they would take a break from the band for the time being. The farewell concert took place on May 13, 2017.

style

Forensick plays melodic, classic Heavy Metal, which is assigned to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal . Metal Hammer compares the band with Iron Maiden and Angel Witch , Deaf Forever also mentions Iron Maiden in the review of The Prophecy . In addition to Iron Maiden, Rock Hard also names Judas Priest .
