The Out and Loud ( OAL for short ) was a three-day music festival that took place annually from 2013 to 2016 near the Lower Franconian town of Geiselwind . Initially called Beastival , it was renamed Out and Loud in 2014 . The festival was organized by Rock the Nation .

The festival took place in the area around the event hall and the Strohofer truck stop in Geiselwind. The bands played on the one hand on the main stage, which was an open-air stage outside the event hall, and on the other on the second stage inside the event hall. In 2014, the Newcomer Stage was added, offering up-and-coming bands a platform to present themselves to a larger audience.

For 2017 the festival had to be canceled for financial reasons. On November 4, 2017, the organizers announced that the festival would no longer take place "until further notice".
