Forstwald is a scattered settlement and a cadastral community of the municipality of Bruck an der Mur in the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district in Styria .
The cadastral community is located southwest of Bruck. The scattered settlement of Forstwald is part of Utschtal .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 83 building areas with 66,337 m² and 31 gardens on 47,244 m² in the cadastral community of Forstwald , in 1989/1990 there were 85 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 243 and in 2009/2010 there were 109 buildings on 250 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 93 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 314 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 82 hectares and 328 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 76 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 324 hectares. The average soil climate number of Forstwald is 18.6 (as of 2010).
