The judicial district of Bruck an der Mur is a judicial district in the federal state of Styria which is subordinate to the district court of Bruck an der Mur .

history

The judicial district of Bruck was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the 14 communities of Breitenau , Bruck , Frauenberg , Hafendorf , Kapfenberg , Katharein , Kirchdorf , Lorenzen , Oberaich , Parschlug , Picheldorf , Pischk , Schaldorf and Tragöß .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Bruck an der Mur together with the judicial districts of Aflenz , Mürzzuschlag , Kindberg and Mariazell formed the district of Bruck .

On January 1, 1902, the judicial districts of Mürzzuschlag and Kindberg were separated from the Bruck an der Mur district and merged into a new district under the name of Mürzzuschlag .

With the dissolution of the judicial district of Aflenz in 1923, its seven communities Aflenz Markt , Aflenz Land , Etmißl , Fölz , Sankt Ilgen , Thörl and Turnau were added to the judicial district of Bruck an der Mur, increasing the size of the judicial district to 537.7 km² per year 1910 on 893.35 km² (1923).

In the course of the National Socialist administrative changes, the judicial district of Mariazell was separated from the district of Bruck an der Mur and added to the district of Mürzzuschlag, but this change was reversed after the Second World War.

In 2002 the judicial district of Bruck an der Mur was again enlarged by the dissolution of the judicial district of Mariazell. As a result of this measure, the judicial district of Bruck an der Mur took over the communities of Gußwerk , Halltal , Mariazell and Sankt Sebastian on July 1, 2002 , which increased the judicial district area to 1306.33 km² and since then includes the entire political district of Bruck an der Mur, like him existed until 2012.

With effect from January 1, 2015, the judicial district was redefined in the "District Courts Ordinance Styria 2015" due to the changes in the framework of the municipal structural reform in Styria .

Courthouse

Since January 2015, the court district has been defined by the areas of the following eleven communities: Aflenz , Breitenau am Hochlantsch , Bruck an der Mur , Kapfenberg , Mariazell , Pernegg an der Mur , Sankt Lorenzen im Mürzal , Sankt Marein im Mürzal , Thörl , Tragöß-Sankt Katharein , Turnau .
