The judicial district of Schladming is a judicial district in the federal state of Styria, which is subordinate to the district court Schladming . It comprises 9 communities in the far west of the Liezen district .

history

The judicial district of Schladming was created by an announcement made by the State Court Introductory Commission in 1849 and originally comprised the eight communities of Gössenberg , Haus , Klaus , Pichl-Pernegg , Ramsau , Rohrmoos , Schladming and Unterthal .

In the course of the separation of the political and judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Schladming together with the judicial districts of Aussee , Gröbming , Liezen , Rottenmann , Irdning and St. Gallen formed the district of Liezen .

When the district of Gröbming was founded in 1873, the judicial district of Schladming, together with the judicial districts of Gröbming, Aussee and Irdning, became part of the newly founded district on June 30, 1873.

In 1938 the district of Gröbming was dissolved in the course of the National Socialist administrative changes. The Schladming judicial district came back to the Liezen district on October 15, 1938, together with the Irdning and Gröbming judicial districts. This change was retained after World War II.

Until 2002 the judicial district area itself remained almost unchanged at 425.18 km² (1981). In the course of the amalgamation of several judicial districts by the "District Courts Ordinance Styria" of the federal government, the neighboring judicial district of Gröbming was also dissolved and its area was merged with the judicial district of Schladming. The judicial district of Schladming was enlarged by the nine municipalities of Gröbming , Großsölk , Kleinsölk , Michaelerberg , Mitterberg , Öblarn , Pruggern , Sankt Martin am Grimming and Sankt Nikolai im Sölktal or to 932.02 km².

With effect from January 1, 2015, the judicial district was redefined in the "District Courts Ordinance Styria 2015" due to the changes in the framework of the municipal structural reform in Styria .

Courthouse
