The judicial district Pöllau was the District Court Pöllau under standing judicial district in the state of Styria . The judicial district comprised parts of the political district Hartberg and was added to the judicial district Hartberg in 1976 .
history
The judicial district of Pöllau was created by an announcement made by the State Court Introductory Commission in 1849 and originally comprised the 22 communities Buchberg , Freyenberg , Hinteregg , Hofkirchen , Köppelreith , Oberneuberg , Obersaifen , Obertiefenbach , Pöllau , Prätis , Rabenwald , Schönau , Siegersdorf , St. Johann , Stubenberg , Unterneuberg , Untertiefenbach , Voggenberg , Winkel , Winzendorf , Zail (Pöllau) and Zail (Stubenberg).
In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Pöllau together with the judicial districts of Hartberg , Friedberg and Vorau formed the district of Hartberg .
After the federal government had decided by ordinance to dissolve the judicial districts of Vorau, Friedberg and Pöllau, the judicial district of Pöllau was added to the Hartberg judicial district on October 1, 1976.
On July 1, 2013, the Hartberg judicial district was dissolved and the municipalities assigned to the Fürstenfeld judicial district.

At the time of its dissolution, the court district comprised the ten communities Hofkirchen bei Hartberg , Pöllau , Pöllauberg , Rabenwald , Saifen-Boden , St. Johann bei Herberstein , Schönegg bei Pöllau , Siegersdorf bei Herberstein , Sonnhofen , Stubenberg and Tiefenbach bei Kaindorf .
