The judicial district Oberzeiring was the District Court Oberzeiring under standing judicial district in the state of Styria . It comprised the northern part of the political district of Judenburg (today the Murtal district ) and was added to the judicial district of Judenburg in 1976 .

history

The judicial district of Oberzeiring was created as the judicial district of Zeiring by an announcement made by the State Court Introductory Commission in 1849 and originally comprised the seven communities of Brettstein , Hohenthauern , Oberkurzheim , Oberzeiring , Oswald , Pusterwald and St. Johann .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Oberzeiring together with the judicial districts of Knittelfeld , Obdach and Judenburg formed the Judenburg district .

After the First World War, the judicial district of Judenburg took over the area of the dissolved Obdach judicial district on June 1, 1923, and the number of judicial districts in the Judenburg district was reduced in 1946 through the separation of the Knittelfeld judicial district, which became an independent, political district.

After the federal government had decided by ordinance to dissolve the Oberzeiring judicial district, the Judenburg judicial district was finally extended to the entire political district of Judenburg on October 1, 1976.

As of January 1, 2012, as part of the Styrian municipal structural reform, the Knittelfeld and Judenburg districts were merged into one district called Murtal , which has been congruent with the Judenburg judicial district since the Knittelfeld judicial district was dissolved on July 1, 2013.

Courthouse

At the time of its dissolution, the court district comprised the seven municipalities Bretstein , Hohentauern , Oberkurzheim , Oberzeiring , Pusterwald , Sankt Johann am Tauern and Sankt Oswald-Möderbrugg .
