The judicial district Luttenberg ( Slovene : sodni okraj Ljutomer ) was a judicial district in the federal state of Styria, which was subordinate to the district court Luttenberg . It comprised parts of the political district of Luttenberg (Okraj Ljutomer) and was added to the state of Yugoslavia in 1919 .

history

The judicial district of Luttenberg was created by an announcement made by the State Court Introductory Commission in 1849 and originally comprised the 29 communities Alt- and Neudorf , Altstraß , Gadomerzen , Gerlova , Igelsdorf , Kreuzdorf , Kristanzen , Kummersberg , Logrofzen , Lukaufzen , Luttenberg , Malleggendorf , Muratzen , Pressika , Pristova , Radislafzen , key village , Slabotinzen , Steinberg , Urschendorf , Want's , Wernsee , Wolf village , Wollachnetzen , Woretzen , Wudischofzen , Wutschkofzen , Zesendorf and Zween .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Luttenberg together with the judicial district of Oberradkersburg (Gornja Rodgona) formed the district of Luttenberg .

population

The judicial district of Luttenberg had a population of 13,809 present in 1890, with 12,832 people giving Slovene and 469 people German as the colloquial language.

In 1910 14,676 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 13,080 spoke Slovene (89.1%) and 666 German (4.5%).

The German-speaking population lived almost exclusively in the city of Luttenberg, where they had a slim majority compared to the Slovenian population.

In 1910, shortly before its dissolution, the Luttenberg court district comprised the 29 municipalities of Bolehneci (Wollachnetzen), Boreci (Woretzen), Branoslavci (Malleggendorf), Bučečovci (Wudischofzen), Bunčani (Wantschen), Cezanjevci (Zesendorf), Cven (Zween), Godemarci (Godomerzen) Grlova (Gerlova) Iljašovci (Igelsdorf) Kamenščak (Steinberg), Ključarovci (key village), Krištanci (Kristanzen) Križovci (cross village), Ljutomer (Luttenberg) Logarovci (Logarofzen) Lokavci (Lukafzen), Mala Nedelja ( Little Sunday ), Moravci (Muratzen), Noršinci (Urschendorf), Presika (Pressika), Pristova , Radoslavci (Radislafzen), Slamnjak (Kummersberg), Slaptinci (Slabotinzen), Stara Cesta (Altstraß), Stara Nova Ves (Altneudorf), Veržej (Wernsee) and Vučja Ves (Wolfsdorf). In present-day Slovenia, the former territory of the judicial district essentially extends over the municipalities of Ljutomer, Križevci, Veržej and parts of Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici.
