The judicial district Voitsberg is the District Court Voitsberg under standing judicial district in the state of Styria .
history
The judicial district of Voitsberg was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the 59 communities of Aichegg , Arnstein , Bärenbach , Fluttendorf , Gaisfeld , Gallmannsegg , Gaßelberg , Gösnitz , Grabenwarth , Graden , Graden Lankowitz , Gradenberg Lankowitz , United Söding , Großwölniß , Hallerndorf , Hausdorf , Hirschegg-Piber , Hirschegg-Rein , Hochtregist , Kainach , Kalchberg , Kemet mountain , Kirchberg , Kleinsöding , Kleinwölniß , Kobwald , Köflach , carbon black , Köpling , Kreutzberg , Krottendorf , Lankowitz , Ligist , Lobming , Lobmingberg , Modriach , Moosing , Mooskirchen , Muggauberg , Neudorf , Oberdorf , Oberwald , Oswald ditch , Pack , Piber , Piberegg , Pichling near Köflach , Pichling bei Mooskirchen , Puchbach , Raßberg , Salla , damage Dorfberg , Södingberg , Stallhofen , Steinberg , Thallein , Tregist , undergrowth and Voitsberg .
In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district Voitsberg together with the judicial districts Graz and Frohnleiten formed the district Graz .
By an imperial resolution, the judicial district of Voitsberg was separated from the Graz-Umgebung district on October 1, 1891 and became independent as the Voitsberg district.
On June 1, 1932, however, the Voitsberg district lost its independence and again became part of the Graz-Umgebung district. In Voitsberg, only a political branch of the district administration Graz area remained.
As early as March 1, 1937, the judicial district of Voitsberg regained its status as an independent district.
The judicial district itself has remained almost unchanged in size since its inception. Only in 1952 was there a major change when the municipality of Gießenberg left the Stainz judicial district on January 1 and was assigned to the Voitsberg judicial district.
Courthouse
With effect from January 1, 2015, the judicial district was redefined in the "District Courts Ordinance Styria 2015" due to the changes in the framework of the municipal structural reform in Styria .
Since January 2015, the district of the court has included the area of the following 15 communities: Bärnbach , Edelschrott , Geistthal-Södingberg , Hirschegg-Pack , Kainach bei Voitsberg , Köflach , Krottendorf-Gaisfeld , Ligist , Maria Lankowitz , Mooskirchen , Rosental an der Kainach , Sankt Martin at Wöllmißberg , Söding-Sankt Johann , Stallhofen , Voitsberg .
It is therefore congruent with the Voitsberg district .
