District Court Frohnleiten

The judicial district Frohnleiten was the District Court Frohnleiten under standing judicial district in the state of Styria . It was in the north of the Graz-Umgebung district .

history

The judicial district Frohnleiten was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the 13 communities Feistritz , Frohnleiten , Mauritzen , Peggau , Röthelstein , Rothleiten , Schrems , Semriach , Stübinggraben , Tulvitz , Tyrnau , Uebelbach and Windhof . In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district Frohnleiten, together with the judicial districts Graz Umgebung and Voitsberg, formed the Graz-Umgebung district .

After the judicial district of Voitsberg was separated from the Graz-Umgebung district by an imperial resolution on October 1, 1891, only the Frohnleiten and Graz-Umgebung district remained in the Graz-Umgebung district.

After Austria's annexation in 1939, the court was renamed the Frohnleiten District Court and was now subordinate to the Graz Regional Court . In 1945 it was renamed the District Court again.

The judicial district Frohnleiten itself, however, remained unchanged until the beginning of the 21st century. Only through the reorganization of the Graz and Graz-Umgebung judicial districts did the Frohnleiten judicial district also take over the eight communities Eisbach , Gratkorn , Gratwein , Gschnaidt , Judendorf-Straßengel , Sankt Bartholomä , Sankt Oswald bei Plankenwarth and Stiwoll from the Graz Umgebung judicial district, which increases the size of the Judicial district enlarged from 408.51 km² (1991) to 566.69 km².

On July 1, 2013, the judicial district was dissolved and the municipalities were assigned to the Graz-West judicial district .
