The judicial district Knittelfeld was the District Court Knittelfeld under standing judicial district in the state of Styria . It covered the entire Knittelfeld district until 2011 and has formed the Murtal district together with the Judenburg judicial district (former Judenburg district ) since January 1, 2012 .

history

The Judicial District Judenburg was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission adopted in 1849 and originally comprised the 14 communities Dürnberg , Feistritz , Flatschach , Gall , Großlobming , Kleinlobming , Knittelfeld , Lorenzen , Marein , Margarethen , Mitterlobming , Puchschachen , Rachau and Seckau . It was not until 1868 that the local communities of Spielberg , Kobenz and Apfelberg were created through the separation of several tax communities from Knittelfeld .

The judicial district Knittelfeld formed political from judicial administration from 1868 together with the course of the separation of judicial districts Judenburg , shelter and Oberzeiring the District Judenburg .

In 1946 the judicial district of Knittelfeld was separated from the Judenburg district and elevated to the Knittelfeld district. By merging the districts of Judenburg and Knittelfeld to form the district of Murtal , this administrative change was withdrawn on January 1, 2012.

On July 1, 2013, the judicial district was dissolved and the parishes were assigned to the Judenburg judicial district.
