The judicial district of Mürzzuschlag is a judicial district in the federal state of Styria which is subordinate to the district court of Mürzzuschlag .

history

The judicial district of Mürzzuschlag was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the eight communities of Altenberg , Gans , Kapellen , Langenwang , Mürzsteg , Mürzzuschlag , Neuberg and Spital .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Mürzzuschlag together with the judicial districts of Aflenz , Bruck , Kindberg and Mariazell formed the district of Bruck .

From January 1, 1902, the judicial districts of Mürzzuschlag and Kindberg formed a new district under the name of Mürzzuschlag. While the district of Mürzzuschlag was expanded to include the judicial district of Mariazell in the course of the National Socialist administrative changes, the scope of the judicial district of Mürzzuschlag remained unchanged.

While Mariazell was added to the district of Bruck an der Mur again in 1945, the judicial district of Mürzzuschlag experienced major changes in territory for the first time on March 1, 1948, with parts of the community Halltal being taken over by the judicial district of Mariazell. The size of the judicial district increased from 450.45 km² in 1910 to 473.72 km² (1951).

The judicial district experienced a further expansion through the dissolution of the judicial district Kindberg. As a result of this measure, the judicial district of Mürzzuschlag took over the communities of Allerheiligen in Mürz Valley , Kindberg , Krieglach , Mitterdorf in Mürz Valley , Mürzhofen , Stanz in Mürz Valley , Veitsch and Wartberg in Mürz Valley on July 1, 2002 , which means that the area of the judicial district has almost doubled to 848.47 km² since then includes the entire political district of Mürzzuschlag, as it existed until 2012.

With effect from January 1, 2015, the judicial district was redefined in the "District Courts Ordinance Styria 2015" due to the changes in the framework of the municipal structural reform in Styria .

Courthouse

Since January 2015, the court district has been defined by the area of the following eight municipalities: Kindberg , Krieglach , Langenwang , Mürzzuschlag , Neuberg an der Mürz , Spital am Semmering , Stanz im Mürz valley , Sankt Barbara im Mürz valley .

It is therefore congruent with the Mürzzuschlag district as it existed until 2012.
