The judicial district Rohitsch ( Slovenian : Sodni okraj Rogatec ) was the District Court Rohitsch under standing judicial district in the state of Styria . It comprised parts of the political district of Pettau (Okraj Ptuj) and was added to the state of Yugoslavia in 1919 .

history

The judicial district Rohitsch was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the 20 communities Dobrina , Donatiberg , Holy Trinity , Koschitze , Oberkostreinitz , Nadolle , Nimno , Plath , Reinkovetz , Rohitsch , Sauerbrunn , Schiltern , St . Florian , St. Hermagoras , St. Catherine , St. Rochus , Takatschovo , Tschernosische , Untersetschovo and Wrestovetz .

The judicial district was thus in the eastern part of Lower Styria and comprised areas north of today's border between Slovenia and Croatia. The judicial district Rohitsch formed in the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868 together with the judicial districts Pettau (Ptuj) and Friedau (Ormož) the district Pettau (Ptuj).

The judicial district of Rohitsch had a population of 12,460 present in 1890, with 11,674 people giving Slovene and 537 people German as the colloquial language.

In 1910, 12,199 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 10,922 spoke Slovene (89.5%) and 933 German (7.6%).

Due to the border provisions of the Treaty of Saint-Germain concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district was completely added to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

The circuit court Rohitsch included 1910 the 21 municipalities Brestovec (Wrestovetz) Črmožiše (Tschermosische), Dobrina , Donačka Gora (Donati mountain), Kočice (Kotschitze) Kostrivnica (Kostreinitz) Nadole (Nadolle) Nimno , Plat (Plath), Rajnkovec ( Rainkovetz), Rogatec (Rohitsch), Slatina Okolica (Sauerbrunn area), Spodnje Sečevo ( Untersetschevo ), Sveta Katarina (Sankt Katharina), Sveti Florijan (Sankt Florian), Sveti Mohor (Sankt Hermagoras), Sveti Rok (Sankt Rochus), Svetna Trojica pri Slatini (Holy Trinity near Sauerbrunn), Takačevo (Takatschevo), Zdravilišče Rogatec-Slatina (Rohitsch-Sauerbrunn spa town) and Žetale (Schiltern).
