The judicial district of Sankt Leonhard in Windischbühel ( Slovene : sodni okraj Sveti Lenart v Slovenskih Goricah ) was a judicial district in the state of Styria which was subordinate to the district court of Sankt Leonhard in Windischbühel . It comprised parts of the political district of Marburg ( Maribor ) and was added to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in 1919 .

The judicial district of Sankt Leonhard in Windischbühel was created by an announcement made by the State Court Introductory Commission in 1849 and originally comprised the 45 communities of Andrezen , Benedicten , Dreifaltigkeit , Dreikönig , Götsch , Jablanach , Kirchberg , Kremberg, Ledineg , Mallenberg , Meichendorf , Mittergasterei , upper Burgstall , upper Hanau , Oberscheriafzen , Oberschweinbach village , Oberwellitschen , upper Wurz , Ossegg , Partin , Ragosnitz , Roth Protect , Roth Protect , Samarka , Schikarzen , Schiltern , ski dancing , Protect , Selzaberg , Smolinzen , St. Georgen , St. Leonhard , Suppetinzen , Trie leg , Tronkau , Tschaga , Tschermlenscheg , Unterburgstall , Untergasterei , Unterscheriafzen , Unterwellitschen , Wintersbach , Wisch , Wranga and Zoggendorf .

The judicial district of San Leonardo in Windischbühel formed political from judicial administration from 1868 together with the jurisdictions during the separation Marburg ( Maribor ), without the city of Marburg, and Windisch Feistritz ( Slovenska Bistrica ) the district Marburg ( Maribor ).

Due to the border provisions of the Treaty of Saint-Germain concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district was completely added to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

The judicial district of Sankt Leonhard in Windischbühel had a population of 18,084 present in 1890, with 17,418 people giving Slovene and 563 people German as the colloquial language.

In 1910 17,676 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 17,038 spoke Slovene (96.4%) and 516 German (2.9%). More than half of the German-speaking minority lived in Sankt Leonhard in Windischbühel in 1910. It was also the only municipality in which the German speakers made up a majority of the population.
