The judicial district of Drachenburg ( Slovene : sodni okraj Kozje ) was a judicial district in the state of Styria which was subordinate to the district court of Drachenburg . It comprised parts of the political district of Rann (Okraj Brežice) and was added to the state of Yugoslavia in 1919 .
history
The judicial district of Drachenburg was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the 31 municipalities of Brenskagorca , Brezje , Buče , Dobležič , Drenskorebro , Golobinjek , Gorjane , Koprivnica , Kozje , Križi , Lastiniči , Loke , Lopatca , Merčnasela , Paridol , Pilstan , Planina , Planinca , Podsreda , Presicno , Sedlarjovo , Straskagorca , Suho , Sveti Peter pod Kunspergom , Sveti Vid , Verače , Verkikamen , Veternik , Virstein , Zagorje and Zdole . In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Drachenburg, together with the judicial districts of Lichtenwald and Rann, formed the district of Rann .
The judicial district had a population of 18,300 in 1910, of which 17,931 gave Slovene (98.0%) and 79 German (0.4%) as the colloquial language. Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Drachenburg was completely assigned to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

Before its dissolution, the Drachenburg court district comprised the 27 municipalities of Buče (Fautsch), Dobje , Drensko Rebro (Drenskoreber), Gorjane , Imeno (Stadeldorf), Koprivnica (Kopreinitz), Kozje (Drachenburg), Križe (Kreuz), Loke (Laakdorf), Lastnič (Lastnitsch), Mrčna sela (Mertschnasela), Piljštajn (Peilstein), Planinska vas (Planininsdorf), Podsreda (Hörberg), Podčrtrtek (Windisch Landsberg), Preborje , Presečno (Presetschno), Sankt Peter pod Svetimi Königsami (Sankt Peter pod Svetimi) ), Sveti Vid pri Planini (Sankt Veit bei Montpreis), Sedlarjevo (Satteldorf), Zdole (Sdole), Sopote , Velki Kamen (Großsteinbach), Vetrnik (Veternik), Verače (Weratsche), Virštanj (Wierstein) and Zagorje (Sagorje) .
