Kozje ( German : Drachenburg ) is a municipality in the Spodnja Štajerska region ( Lower Styria ), in Slovenia . The total municipality consists of 23 villages and hamlets, has 3341 inhabitants and is located near the border with Croatia . The mighty Podsreda Castle is the landmark of the Kozje municipality and is located in the Podsreda district of the same name. It was first mentioned as Castrum Herberch in 1213.
