Šmartno ob Paki ( Eng : Sankt Martin an der Pack ) is a municipality in the Štajerska region (Lower Styria) in Slovenia .
The total community, consisting of ten localities and hamlets, had 3223 inhabitants on January 1, 2014. The main town Šmartno ob Paki alone has 594 residents. The municipality is located on the lower reaches of the Paka (Pack) in Pohorje . The place was first mentioned in 1256. But it was settled before that. Viticulture is practiced on the slopes of Mali vrh above Šmartno .
The company of the same name was founded in the Gorenje district in 1950 .
