The judicial district of shelter was the district court shelter under standing judicial district in the state of Styria . It comprised the southern part of the political district of Judenburg (today the district of Murtal ) and was added to the judicial district of Judenburg in 1923 .

history

The judicial district Obdach was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the seven communities Granitzen , Kienberg , Lavantegg , Obdach , Obdachegg , Prethal and Schwarzenbach .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district Obdach together with the judicial districts Knittelfeld , Judenburg and Oberzeiring formed the Judenburg district .

After the First World War, the Obdach judicial district was dissolved on June 1, 1923 and the area was added to the Judenburg judicial district.

Since January 1, 2012, the former area has been part of the Murtal district , which was formed from the Knittelfeld and Judenburg districts and consists of the court districts of the same name.

At the time of its dissolution, the court district comprised the seven municipalities of Granitzen , Kienberg , Lavantegg , Obdach , Obdachegg , Prethal and Schwarzenbach .
