The judicial district Hartberg was a judicial district in the federal state of Styria until June 30, 2013 . Since 1976 it has included the entire political district of Hartberg , which has been part of the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district since January 1, 2013 .

history

The judicial district Hartberg was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the 51 communities Blaindorf , Buch , Dienersdorf , Ebersdorf , Eggendorf , Erdwegen , Flattendorf , Geißeldorf , Grafendorf , Graeferviertl , Großhart , Haberstorf , Hartberg , Hartl , Hohenbruck , Hopfau , Kaibing , Kaindorf , Kopfing , Lafnitz , Leitersdorf , Lemberg , Limbach , Löffelbach , Mitterdambach , Neudau , Neustift , Oberlungitz , Oberrohr , Obersaifen , Penzendorf , Ring , Rohrbach (on the Lafnitz), Rohrbach (near Sebersdorf) , Safenau , Schildbach , Schölbing , Sebersdorf , Seibersdorf , St. Johann , Stambach , Staudach , Unterlungitz , Unterrohr , Wagenbach , Wagenberg , Wagendorf , Waltersdorf , Weinberg , Wenireith and Wörth .

In the course of the separation of the political and judicial administration from 1868 , the Hartberg judicial district together with the Vorau , Friedberg and Pöllau judicial districts formed the Hartberg district .

Gradually, the number of municipalities in the Hartberg judicial district was reduced by amalgamation from the original 51 to 22 municipalities in Bad Waltersdorf , Blaindorf , Buch-St. Magdalena , Dienersdorf , Ebersdorf , Grafendorf near Hartberg , Greinbach , Großhart , Hartberg , Hartberg area , Hartl , Kaibing , Kaindorf , Lafnitz , Limbach near Neudau , Neudau , Rohr near Hartberg , Rohrbach an der Lafnitz , St. Johann in der Haide , Sebersdorf , Stambach Wörth an der Lafnitz .

After the federal government had decided by ordinance to dissolve the judicial districts of Vorau, Friedberg and Pöllau, the judicial district of Hartberg was extended to the entire political district of Hartberg on October 1, 1976. The judicial district Hartberg took over the communities Dechantskirchen , Friedberg , Pinggau , St. Lorenzen am Wechsel , Schäffern and Schlag bei Thalberg from the judicial district Friedberg, the communities Hofkirchen bei Hartberg , Pöllau , Pöllauberg , Rabenwald , Saifen-Boden , St. Johann bei Herberstein , Schönegg near Pöllau , Siegersdorf near Herberstein , Sonnhofen , Stubenberg and Tiefenbach near Kaindorf from the judicial district of Pöllau
and the communities of Eichberg , Mönichwald , Puchegg , Riegersberg , St. Jakob im Walde , Schachen near Vorau , Vorau , Vornholz , Waldbach and Wenigzell from the judicial district of Vorau.

Until June 30, 2013, the judicial district was subordinate to the Hartberg District Court .

On July 1, 2013, the judicial district was dissolved and the communities were assigned to the Fürstenfeld judicial district.
