The judicial district Eibiswald was a district court subordinate to the Eibiswald district court in the federal state of Styria . The judicial district covers the southern part of the political district of Deutschlandsberg and was added to the judicial district of Deutschlandsberg in 2002 .

history

The judicial district of Eibiswald was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849. It originally comprised the 18 communities of Aibel , Eibiswald , Feisternitz , Gaßelsdorf , Jagernigg , Kleinradl , Kornriegl , Limberg , Oberhardt , Oberlatein , Pitschgau , St. Oswald , St. Peter , St. Ulrich bei Eibiswald , Stammeregg , Sterglegg , Vorderdorf and Wies .

In the course of the separation of the political and judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Eibiswald, together with the judicial districts of Deutschlandsberg and Stainz, formed the district of Deutschlandsberg .

In 1910 the judicial district covered an area of ​​199.11 km², on January 1, 1928, the Eibiswald judicial district also received the parts of the Mahrenberg judicial district with the municipality of Soboth , the newly established municipalities of Laaken and Rothwein as well as the part of the district assigned to the Stammeregg municipality The cadastral municipality of Heiligendreikönig was assigned to the former municipality of Oberfeising . As a result, the judicial district grew by around 51 km².

After Austria was annexed in 1939, the court was renamed the Eibiswald District Court and was now subordinate to the Graz Regional Court . From June 15, 1943, the business operations of the Eibiswald District Court were restricted to one office of the Deutschlandsberg District Court, in 1945 the court was renamed the District Court and its full range of powers.

As a result of the reorganization of the judicial districts in 2002, the Eibiswald judicial district was dissolved on July 1, 2002 and the area was added to the Deutschlandsberg judicial district.
