The judicial district of Mariazell was the District Court Mariazell under standing judicial district in the state of Styria . The judicial district comprised the northern part of the political district of Bruck an der Mur and was added to the judicial district of Bruck an der Mur in 2002 .

history

The judicial district of Bruck an der Mur was created as the “judicial district of Mariazell” as a result of an announcement made by the state court introductory commission in 1849 and originally comprised the four communities of Gußwerk , Halltal , Mariazell and St. Sebastian . In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Mariazell together with the judicial district of Bruck formed the district of Bruck an der Mur .

In the course of the National Socialist administrative changes, the judicial district of Mariazell was separated from the district of Bruck an der Mur and added to the district of Mürzzuschlag, but this change was reversed on June 11, 1945 after the Second World War. On March 1, 1948, however, parts of the Hallthal community were assigned to the Mürzzuschlag judicial district. Due to the reorganization of the judicial districts in 2002, the judicial district of Mariazell was finally dissolved on July 1, 2002 and the area was assigned to the judicial district of Bruck an der Mur.

Courthouse

At the time of its dissolution, the court district comprised the northern part of the Bruck an der Mur district with the four communities of Gußwerk , Halltal , Mariazell and St. Sebastian .
